Those are the general Illinois single-trip oversize/overweight permit rates. The total depends on the route. We do not calculate routes. We publish what the state publishes.

Official Table 1 (legal-weight overdimension). Category a, 10' / 14'6" / 70' or less: “0 to 90 miles $12 / 91 to 180 miles $15 / 181 to 270 Miles $18 / over 270 miles $21. Revised 1/16/2024 (625 ILCS 5/15-304).”

Table 1 cites 625 ILCS 5/15-304. The dollar cells match 625 ILCS 5/15-305. We are not silently changing the citation.

Official Table 2 (overweight). Category f, 6 or more axles, 88,000 lb max: “0 to 45 MILES $10 … 451 to 495 MILES $35.” Fees include dimensions up to 15' high; 145' long; 12'6" wide. Width 12'7"–14'6" adds $15. Any dimension over 15' H / 145' L / 14'6" W adds a Table 1 fee.
